East Devon DC East Devon have a hardworking benefits team guiding people through the bewildering range of benefits. All benefits can be accessed online. But for those of us who are not too good with computers ring 01404 515616 - the main switchboard number; or 01395 571770 where they are able to ring people back and help them complete an application over the phone.  They can help you access support suitable to you and even the new emergency fund called The Household Support Fund is available [hardship@eastdevon.org.uk] if all else fails.

Axewoods Co-operative : A brilliant and unique local group who run East Devon Log Bank which has seasoned logs available free of charge to local people who struggle to keep their home warm during winter– just like a Food Bank but with foresters! info@axewoods.org.uk
